Max Verstappen arrived at the Canadian Grand Prix a single point away from a one-race suspension following his collision with George Russell at the Spanish Grand Prix.

Max Verstappen’s girlfriend, Kelly Piquet, proved that she is his biggest supporter despite missing out on the top step of the podium at the Canadian Grand Prix. In the recently concluded Formula One race in Montreal, the Oracle Red Bull racing driver fell short after finishing in second place behind George Russell of the Mercedes team.

Verstappen was handed a 10-second time penalty and three penalty points for driving into Mercedes' George Russell in the final stages of the Spanish Grand Prix, which brings his total over the past 12 months up to 11, with 12 leading to an automatic one race ban. Only after the Austria race will he start losing points again to diminish that threat.
