Franklin Field in Philadelphia is set to host the 129th annual Penn Relays, making it one of the oldest and largest meets. The first year of competition was April 21, 1895, when Harvard defeated the University of Pennsylvania, campus hosts, in the 4x400 relay for the first Penn Relays championship.

Day 2 of the Penn Relays is already in full swing with electric energy as the high school girls' teams hit the track. Friday marks the first day of the high school girls' events and the start of the Boys' Championship of America.
