MSU drops Maui Invitational semifinal to Memphis, 71-63
In the semifinal of the Maui Invitational hosted at the Lahaina Civic Center in Lahaina, Hawaii, Michigan State (5-2) lost 71-63 as a fast and physical Memphis (6-0) stole the show. The Spartans will play the winner of Tuesday night’s Auburn-North Carolina semifinal in the third-place game Wednesday.
