Wisconsin’s investment board saw fit to significantly add to its bitcoin (BTC) bet in the last three months of the year. The State of Wisconsin Investment Board (SWIB) disclosed ownership of just over 6 million shares of BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) as of the Dec.

State of Wisconsin Investment Board, Madison, owns about 6 million shares of iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF, a bitcoin exchange-traded fund, valued at about $321 million, according to SWIB’s 13F holdings report filed recently with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The ownership interest was held via Mubadala Investments, one of the country's sovereign wealth funds
