MasterChef presenter faces backlash after claiming allegations against him were from ‘handful of middle-class women of a certain age’

Kirstie Allsopp has responded to Gregg Wallace's claims earlier today that the allegations of misconduct against him only come from "middle-class women of a certain age".

Former Newsnight host Kirsty Wark alleged that on two occasions, Wallace told jokes of a 'sexualised nature' when she was a contestant on Celebrity MasterChef in 2011. Meanwhile, the Sun reported that three different women have come forward with claims about Wallace's alleged behaviour.
