Art the Clown creator Damien Leone recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to offer some insight into the future of the Terrifier franchise. While nothing is set in stone, Leone hinted that the end might be closer than fans expect, suggesting that the story of the sadistically silent harlequin could wrap up in just one or two more films.

After 'Terrifier 3' ended on a pulse-pounding cliffhanger, director Damien Leone has teased a fourth and final movie in the series is in development that will be "an epic closure" to Art the Clown's story.

With Terrifier 3 breaking box office records, Leone discusses the challenges of maintaining the franchise's intensity.

The first Terrfier was just under 85 minutes long, which seemed pretty reasonable for a slasher film. But something happened with the second film, whose running time was allowed to grow seemingly uncontrollably to a whopping 138 minutes.

The actor was waiting tables when an audition for the role came up, but he had to fight his agent to put his hat in the ring: "This is such a low-budget independent film. You really don't need to do stuff like this.
