A man has died in a crash involving a car and a lorry in Aberdeenshire. Police were called to a collision between an HGV and a grey Toyota RAV 4 on the A90 at West Auchiries, Cruden Bay, at about 13:00 on Friday. Emergency services attended and the 53-year-old male driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been informed.

A 28-year-old woman is dead and a 24-year-old man is facing charges, including an impaired driving charge, after police allege he drove a stolen pickup over the centre line of a southern Manitoba highway and caused a three-car crash.

The crash, which occurred about 5:40 p.m. in Mahwah Township, killed Lauren Kopko, 40, of Stratford, Connecticut, according to New Jersey State Police.
