Per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the NFL fined the Falcons $250,000 and Ulbrich $100,000 for the leak of Sanders' phone number. The league specified that the fines were for "failing to prevent the disclosure of confidential information distributed to the club in advance of the NFL Draft."

The Atlanta Falcons on Wednesday were fined $250,000 and defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich $100,000 for their involvement in the prank call of now-Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders, the NFL announced Wednesday.

Shedeur Sanders was not the only prospect to receive a prank call during the NFL draft. Kyle McCord, the former Syracuse quarterback who was taken by the Eagles last weekend, told Philadelphia-area media that someone tried to prank him while the draft was ongoing.
