Former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique was shot dead by three assailants outside the office of his son, Zeeshan Siddique, in Mumbai's Bandra East area on Saturday. According to the police, the assailants arrived at the crime scene in an auto-rickshaw before opening fire on the 66-year-old NCP leader.

Two accused in the Baba Siddique were taken out of the court following legal proceedings. While speaking to ANI, Advocate Siddarth Agarwal informed that accused Gurmail Singh sent to 7-day Mumbai Crime Branch custody police custody.
