The Atlanta Braves optioned outfielder Jarred Kelenic to Triple-A Gwinnett on Monday and signed free-agent Eddie Rosario to fill his spot on the active roster. Kelenic was recently the subject of controversy after not running hard on a fly ball he believed was a home run in an April 19 game.

So, as the Braves prepare to begin a three-game series in Denver on Monday, they’ll reintroduce themselves to Ian Anderson a little more than a month after choosing to trade him to the Angels instead of designating him for assignment at the end of Spring Training.

Atlanta designated Anderson for assignment Tuesday. The right-hander was claimed off waivers over the weekend and didn't make an appearance before being dumped from the 40-man roster. Anderson was traded from Atlanta to the Angels just before the start of the regular season and posted an 11.
