Investigators in India are studying the black boxes of a Boeing 787 Dreamliner after recovering them from the aircraft wreckage to ascertain the cause of last week’s plane crash that left at least 270 people dead.

Boeing stock rose on Monday as investors awaited more information about the tragic 787 crash.Shares of the commercial jet maker were up 0.8% at $201.98 in midmorning trading. The S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average were up 1.

An Air India Boeing 787-8 flight headed for New Delhi returned to Hong Kong shortly after takeoff Monday because of a "technical issue," Indian media reported.
