We're due for a new Nintendo Switch. The current model has performed valiantly for the last seven years but it's much showing its age in terms of processing power. Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa announced that the game system's long-awaited successor will be revealed before the end of March 2025,

Considering the original Switch's massive install base, it's likely that Nintendo will continue supporting the platform for quite some time. 2025 alone will see plenty of major new games released for the Nintendo Switch, with the company recently taking the time to single out 15 games that are coming to the console this year.

Nintendo announced it would share details of the successor to the Switch by the end of the fiscal year, in other words before the end of March 2025. Speculation and rumours have been in overdrive since then with a handful of official announcements scattered in between them all.
