A missing nonverbal woman with autism was found alive in a parked car in Cranston, R.I., on Sunday after a 70-hour investigation by authorities, leading to the arrest of her caregiver, officials said. The woman, Linda DaLomba, was reported missing Wednesday afternoon by her caregiver, Roberta Gerard.

Police in Cranston, Rhode Island, announced that Linda DaLomba, who went missing last week, was found inside a parked vehicle, and her caregiver, 43-year-old Roberta Gerard, has been arrested. DaLomba was brought to Rhode Island Hospital for an evaluation.
