Nintendo teases a mysterious new Switch feature that is available for players via the online system on their Nintendo Switch.

If you never got to play some of the original F-Zero titles, you're in luck, as Nintendo Switch Online has just gotten two of them!

Nintendo has announced that it's opening applications for a mysterious new Switch Online feature later today, but you'll need an Expansion Pack addon.

Nintendo announced earlier this week that it would be hosting a playtest related to a new feature for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Online. The test was open to the public to sign up and had 10,000 available slots.

The playtest period will last between October 23 and November 5 and those who have an active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership are eligible to sign up. Applicants must also be at least 18 years of age, and have their Nintendo accounts registered in Japan, United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, or Spain.

Nintendo has announced that it's taking applications for thousands of participants to test out "a new feature" coming to Switch Online — but no one knows what that is.

"Customers will need to download exclusive software to their own Nintendo Switch system in order to participate"

Testers must also be at at least 18 years old and must have an account registered in Japan, the US, the UK, France, Germany, Italy or Spain. Switch Online subscribers who want to participate can send in an application by scrolling to the bottom of Nintendo's announcement and clicking the "To Application Page" link.
