EC3 has been the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion for nearly 200 days. He won the championship from Tyrus back in late August 2023 in the main event of the NWA 75th Anniversary Show.

It was confirmed by announcer Joe Galli that he was relinquishing his championship. He was doing this to challenge the current NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion — Tyrus.
