Wardlow re-emerged in AEW at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025. He appeared after the match between Kazuchika Okada and Swerve Strickland, attacking Prince Nana and Strickland and seemingly aligning himself with the Don Callis Family.
Wardlow Returns To AEW At Forbidden Door – Details
Wardlow has not appeared on AEW programming since Spring 2024, following his AEW World Title loss to Samoa Joe on Dynamite. During his absence, he recovered from a labrum injury and filmed a role as one of the Gladiators in the upcoming American Gladiators television reboot.
The path may now be clear for Wardlow to return to All Elite Wrestling after spending over a year away from the ring.
