KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A Memphis woman was wrapping Christmas presents when she learned she won the largest prize in the Tennessee Lottery’s “Play It Again December!” drawing. Joevelyn Smith won a total of $1,000,000. “It’s a blessing!”
The Tennessee Lottery says someone in Memphis played the Powerball and matched five of five numbers drawn and used the Power Play to for the $2 million dollar win. The ticket was sold at the Exxon Food Mart at the corner of Summer Avenue and North Graham Street in High Point Terrace.
