Texas Rangers manager Bruce Bochy says pitcher Jon Gray fractured his right wrist when he was hit by a line drive in a spring training game against Colorado.

After starter Jon Gray was hit by a line drive in the third inning, preliminary x-rays showed a fracture of the right wrist, manager Bruce Bochy said after the Rangers’ 5-0 win over Colorado. The Rangers will have Gray further examined, but it appears certain he will open the season on the IL and be there for a prolonged period of time.
