Hillsborough County Ramps Up Debris Collection After Hurricanes Helene And Milton
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. - Hillsborough County is making it easier for residents to get rid of storm debris following Hurricanes Helene and Milton. To speed up the cleanup process, the County has hired extra debris contractors and is offering more ways for residents to dispose of their yard waste and construction debris.

According to FOX 13’s Evan Axelbank, Hurricane Milton created nearly 5 million cubic yards of debris. Hillsborough County announced Tuesday that it would be hiring additional debris collectors to help haul yard waste, tree debris, and construction and demolition debris.
