Eminem will join the Democratic campaign trail to introduce Barack Obama at a Kamala Harris rally in Detroit tonight, CNN reports. Eminem, a vocal critic of Vice President Harris’ opponent in the presidential race, is expected to speak, rather than perform, at the rally, according to CNN sources.

The Harris campaign already is promoting a contest to win two tickets to see a surprise performer at a get-out-the-vote concert, with the silohetted figure of a female singer. Taylor Swift has endorsed Harris’ campaign, and Beyonce has lent the use of her song, Freedom .

Democratic rallygoers will get a glimpse of the real Slim Shady Tuesday night. Eminem, the 52-year-old rapper who grew up in Detroit and still lives in Michigan, will introduce former President Barack Obama tonight at an event in the Motor City.
