Consortium led by F1 legend Eddie Jordan buys London Irish out of administration
A consortium fronted by former Formula 1 team owner Eddie Jordan has sealed a deal to buy the rugby club London Irish out of administration. The former Premiership Rugby club was suspended in June 2023 after falling into significant financial difficulties and has since been excluded from English rugby.

However, in former F1 team boss Jordan, London Irish have found their saviour. According to a report from The Times, the 76-year-old is the leader of the consortium that has purchased the club. The ownership has been filed under the Strangford Ellis Ltd company, managed by Jordan Associates.
