Hong Kong's Cathay Pacific Airways reported a marginal rise in its full-year profit on Wednesday, following a stronger second half due to a holiday-season boost in travel demand and lower fuel prices.

However, Cathay Pacific warned about the potential implications of trade conflicts originating in other countries in 2025.

The Cathay Group has reported an attributable profit of $1.27 billion for 2024, marking an 1.02% increase from a profit of $1.25 billion in 2023.
