In a surprising twist in the current Bullet Club drama, NJPW aired a vignette promising the return of exiled member Bone Soldier.

Anderson and Gallows departed the Bullet Club – and New Japan – in 2016 to join WWE and then Omega departed two years later to form AEW.

With Styles, Gallows, and Anderson’s exodus to the WWE, the Bullet Club needed fresh blood to keep things flowing. Enter Adam Page and Adam Cole, two of Ring of Honor’s most senior veterans.

There have been tips of the cap to Bullet Club in WWE — which does not own the rights to use the faction’s name — since 2016 when Styles, Gallows and Anderson arrived from Japan.

To date, Bullet Club is still relevant to New Japan viewers, and mainstream fans have hoped to see a version of it on network television since Styles debuted with WWE in 2016.
