The No. 1-seeded Boston College Eagles (27-7-2) men’s hockey team advanced to the Manchester Regional Final after defeating the Bentley Falcons (23-15-2) 3-1 on Friday afternoon. The victory did not come without some challenges.

Bentley and Boston College head up to New Hampshire for a do-or-die battle in Round 1 of the NCAA men’s hockey championships. BC, the No. 1 seed, won the Hockey East regular season championship before falling to Northeastern in the conference tournament quarterfinals.

We're finally at tournament time! Boston College has been sitting at the top of the national pairwise for months now, but from here on out they will have to prove their worth out on the ice. Only four wins stand between them and their first national championship since 2012.
