Two winners hit all five numbers in the daily Mass Cash drawing, while another scored big on a scratch ticket game.

Stedman resident William Cox was playing his favorite digital instant game on Oct. 24, when he put $5 toward the jackpot, according to an Oct. 30 news release from the NC Education Lottery. The game is called The Lamp: Dark Arts, and Cox played into the “Cadabra” jackpot, according to the release.

A Wilmington couple's lucky lottery ticket could also be the ticket to them buying a home. Krystal Hastings and James Patana of Wilmington recently hit the top prize off of a $10 scratch-off ticket. Their big win was for $1 million. The couple bought the Lucky Loteria ticket from the Harris Teeter on Parker Farm Road in Wilmington.
