News of a deadly conflict between humans and animals has emerged from Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur. Villagers beat a tiger to death. The tiger arrived in the village at around 3 am and attacked a woman.

A two-year-old tigress that strayed into a village in the buffer zone of Dudhwa Tiger Reserve and attacked two people was killed allegedly by villagers on Wednesday, officials said.
