Two men are facing first-degree murder charges after a fatal stabbing Saturday, the Woonsocket police said Monday morning.

WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Two men have been arrested in connection with the stabbing death of a 32-year-old on Saturday in Woonsocket, according to police. 24-year-old Ibrahim Sylla and 24-year-old Jacob Lopez Diaz were both arrested Sunday night in connection to the death of Christopher Penado on Dec.

A Woonsocket man accused in a deadly hit-and-run in July pleaded not guilty to a murder charge in court on Wednesday.

Both men have each been charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, first-degree robbery, and conspiracy to commit robbery.

The Woonsocket Police Department has arrested two individuals connected to a fatal stabbing. The fatal stabbing happened over the weekend and ended with the killing of Christopher Penado. On Monday the department identified both suspects as Ibrahim Syll and Jacob Lopez Diaz.
