'Ghost lake' re-emerges after vanishing in the 19th century, swallows 94K acres of land
SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY, Calif. (WKRC) - An enormous "ghost lake" re-emerged after first vanishing back in the 19th century. According to The New York Post, Tulare Lake, which first vanished back in the 19th century, has re-emerged, swallowing around 94,000 acres of farmland 130 years later after its initial disappearance.
