People have vandalized Tesla dealerships, as well as some individual Teslas, in protest of CEO Elon Musk’s work in the Trump administration.

A Jewish man whose Tesla was among multiple vehicles vandalized with Swastika stickers in Chicago last week said he received an anonymous letter from the vandal apologizing for his actions. The vandalism comes as Tesla has become a prime target in the ongoing opposition against Musk and his role as head of the Department of Government Efficiency under President Trump.

The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is now investigating the Cybertruck that was vandalized in Bedford-Stuyvesant. The FBI launched a task force intended to crack down on violent Tesla attacks in particular, which the FBI is designating as "domestic terrorism."

Incidents of vandalism and destruction targeting Tesla vehicles and dealership have continued to rise, including in Chicago in recent days.
