Sabrina Carpenter Earns Six Grammy Nominations With ‘Man's Best Friend,' Including Album of the Year
The Grammy Award-winning singer nabbed nominations in several categories including album of the year and record of the year for lead single 'Manchild.'
After a surprisingly uplifting ceremony in February, the Recording Academy is gearing up for its 68th annual Grammy Awards in 2026. Nominations were announced this morning for a year that included notable releases from Grammy stalwarts like Lady Gaga (Mayhem) and Kendrick Lamar (GNX) as well as relative newcomers like Alex Warren (“Ordinary”) and Laufey (A Matter of Time).
Carpenter won her first two Grammys for best pop vocal album and best pop solo performance in 2024.
Lady Gaga earned seven nominations this year, topping her previous record of six in 2010. The Mother Monster landed nominations in three of four major categories: Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year. Gaga was tied with producers Jack Antonoff and Cirkut, who each nabbed seven nominations.
Nominations for the 2026 Grammy Awards were announced on Friday. Lorde and The Weeknd were snubbed, and Sabrina Carpenter got too many nominations.
