The annual WWE Royal Rumble takes place on Saturday, February 1st. The winner of the Royal Rumble will receive a shot at the world championship of their choosing at WrestleMania 41. WWE introduced another first for the women's division by running an all-female Royal Rumble match. This was the next logical step in the "women's revolution" that had been touted since 2015-ish. 2018's match remains the best one yet.

Last year, Bayley won the women's Royal Rumble in Tampa. It was another major milestone for one of WWE's most popular superstars.

Tickets for WWE Royal Rumble 2025 became available last Friday, and WrestleTix is reporting that 44,576 have been sold, and 5,936 remain available. In comparison, Royal Rumble 2023 took place at the Alamo Dome, where WWE sold 47,585 tickets.

Alexa Bliss, a former Women’s Champion, has been absent from WWE programming for quite some time. In early 2023, she engaged in a feud with then-RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair. Bliss challenged Belair for the RAW Women’s Championship at the Royal Rumble.

Alexa Bliss is expected to make her WWE return during the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 41 season after a two-year hiatus. Bliss departed following her first pregnancy and welcomed a daughter in November 2023.
