Four Ventura County men returning home from a bachelor party were injured or killed in the Grand Sierra Resort shooting in Reno on Monday, friends and family told The Ventura County Star. Andrew Canepa, co-owner of the Side Street Café in Newbury Park, Calif., was one of three people confirmed killed.

The gunman shot five people at a valet area, fired at a resort security guard, who wasn’t injured, and then fatally shot someone driving by before police shot him, authorities said.

Dakota Hawver of Reno was arrested after a mass shooting at Grand Sierra Resort on July 28 while trying to flee the scene, police said.
