A train derailed in Reeseville in Dodge County, according to a local fire department. No information about injuries or contents of the train was immediately available, but Clyman-Lowell-Reeseville Fire Chief Eric Howlett said a news conference would take place at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 15 at CLR Fire & Rescue.

A train has derailed in the village of Reeseville, Wisconsin, according to the Dodge County Sheriff's Office. Photos from a witness show it is a Canadian Pacific train, reportedly carrying ethanol. It is unknown at this time how many train cars derailed or if anyone was injured. There was a 29-car train derailment in Reeseville in July 2023.
