On Sunday, February 16, BCCI announced the full schedule of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The much-awaited season of the tournament will begin on March 22, with the defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) taking on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in Kolkata.

Former India legspinner Sairaj Bahutule has been appointed as Rajasthan Royals' spin-bowling coach for IPL 2025. He worked in the same capacity with RR from 2018 to 2021.

The team will hit the road in April, starting with a match against Punjab Kings in New Chandigarh on April 5, followed by a trip to Ahmedabad to take on Gujarat Titans on April 9. RR will then return to Jaipur on April 13 for a high-voltage clash against Royal Challengers Bengaluru before heading to Delhi to face Delhi Capitals on April 16.

Head coach Rahul Dravid hailed Sairajs deep understanding of spin bowling and said that his extensive coaching experience will be an invaluable addition to the franchise.
