The tragic fall of Pirates fan Kavan Markwood from atop the Clemente Wall at PNC Park in Pittsburgh is raising questions.

The evening's Pittsburgh Pirates and Chicago Cubs game came to a halt when a fan tumbled from the stands onto the warning track in the outfield at PNC Park. Pirates players motioned for the fan in question to receive immediate medical attention, and a cart was brought out to escort the fan off the diamond for further medical attention.

The patient remains in critical condition at the hospital. Pittsburgh Police do not anticipate providing any additional updates to the public. Wednesday’s game was delayed for several minutes after the fan fell,
