Jonathon Brooks went down in the backfield on his lone touch yesterday without being touched. The player took a handoff and tried to do a jump cut to the outside and his knee gave out. It was a troubling sight for a Carolina Panthers rookie who was in his third NFL game since returning from an ACL injury.

It is being reported that the Panthers' rookie running back, Jonathon Brooks, suffered a torn ACL and will miss the remainder of the season. The Panthers selected Brooks in the second round of the 2024 NFL draft out of the University

Brooks, taken in the 2nd round of the 2024 draft, played in just three games this season due to a torn ACL he suffered in college on Nov. 11, 2023. He totaled just 22 yards on only nine attempts. Even with the injury, Brooks was a highly touted prospect from the University of Texas. In his final season, he had 1,139 yards and 10 touchdowns.
