The Dolphins defense had been a problem spot this season, but it had three takeaways, three sacks, held Buffalo to 5 of 15 on third downs and shut out the Bills in the first half.
On Saturday, the NFL announced Benford would be fined $14,714 for the incident. Bendford is one of four Buffalo players to be fined this week, joining Allen (unsportsmanlike conduct/violent gesture), running back Ty Johnson (unnecessary roughness/facemask), and wide receiver Elijah Moore (unsportsmanlike conduct/violent gesture).
