In 2022, the Saints introduced an alternate black helmet with a gold fleur-de-lis that has been worn occasionally ever since, marking the first major departure from the traditional gold helmets. Last week, Andrew Lind of SportsLogos.net reported that the Saints were scheduled to unveil a new alternate helmet and uniform on July 22.

The month of July can sometimes be a slow one in the NFL, but that won't be the case this year and that's mostly because nearly half of the league will be unveiling a new alternate helmet or uniform (or both) over the next month.

The New Orleans Saints can check off another "box of adjustment" this offseason. They'll look a bit different for at least a game or two next season, based on a recent update regarding their uniform set.
