A Livingston County man who won a $100,000 second chance prize in 2022 won another $100,000 prize playing one of Michigan Lottery’s second chance games.

The lucky 59-year-old player from White Lake purchased his winning Lucky for Life ticket at Lakeview Market at 9775 Elizabeth Lake Road.

Timothy Wiscombe, 59, of White Lake won $25,000 a year for life when his ticket matched the five white balls drawn Sept. 27.

A Michigan woman said she initially thought she was being scammed when she received a phone call telling her she had won $100,000 in a second-chance lottery drawing.

Kevin Abbe, 38, of Freeland, won the big prize playing the Michigan Lottery's Win Big instant game. He bought the winning ticket in Bay City.

A Mega Millions ticket worth $5 million was the biggest Michigan Lottery prize won or claimed in September, according to the Michigan Lottery. Three tickets also won prizes of $1 million or more. They were won on Lotto 47,

Jami Hawkins, 42, played the $300,000,000 Extraordinaire game, but did not win the jackpot, according to an Oct. 14 news release from the Michigan Lottery. However, Hawkins did scan her non-winning lottery tickets on the Michigan Lottery app, which entered her into a drawing for a second chance to win.

Timothy Wiscombe from White Lake won $390,000 from Michigan's Lucky For Life after opting for a lump sum instead of $25,000 yearly for life.

Michael Buckner, 58, chose to receive a one-time lump sum payment of about $1.3 million rather than annuity payments for the full amount.
