Missing photographer Hannah Kobayashi travelled to Mexico voluntarily, police have said, ending a three-week investigation into a bizarre case which had gripped the nation. An intense search was sparked last month when Ms Kobayashi disappeared after failing to catch a connecting flight from Hawaii to New York.
