A California Highway Patrol pursuit ended in a standoff near the Mid-City area on Friday morning. The pursuit began around 5:15 a.m. on the northbound 404 Freeway at Moraga Drive in West Los Angeles. The CHP said the driver was wanted for allegedly driving recklessly and for making an illegal U-turn.
