Henry Winkler said that he was compensated with only “a cookie” after he agreed last-minute to be in Adam Sandler’s 1998 comedy “The Waterboy.”

Henry Winkler and Adam Sandler have shared the screen a handful of times over the years, but Winkler's role in one of their most famous movies together, 1998's The Waterboy, was entirely unplanned. Winkler opened up about his role in the sports comedy in a recent interview on the Let's Talk Off-Camera with Kelly Ripa podcast.

Having called up Winkler in the middle of the night and begged a large favor, Sandler didn't exactly pull out the stops with Winkler's thank-you gift.
