New York Yankees first baseman Paul Goldschmidt is batting leadoff again on Tuesday at Yankee Stadium against the visiting Arizona Diamondbacks and right-hander Corbin Burnes. It will be Goldschmidt's third time leading off in the early going in five games played.

Paul Goldschmidt struck a leadoff home run on the first pitch he saw from Milwaukee Brewers starter Nestor Cortes on Saturday, kicking off an offensive onslaught in the Yankees’ 20-9 victory. “It’s tough to start better than that,” Goldschmidt said.

With the Yankees facing their first left-handed starter of the season in Nestor Cortes when they resumed their series against the Brewers, manager Aaron Boone gave his Game 1 lineup an overhaul.
