It is no secret the week of Thanksgiving is among the busiest for U.S. airports. The FAA said it is implementing measures to keep air traffic functioning, but such measures could delay flights.

The FAA is warning a shortage of air traffic controllers may disrupt Thanksgiving travel in the northeast. Right now, travelers at Newark Liberty International Airport are dealing with a 95 minute ground delay that the FAA is attributing to staffing.
