While Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons received the annual Madden Thanksgiving MVP honorary turducken, rookie DeMarvion Overshown got a piece, too. Parsons won MVP of Thursday's 27-20 Thanksgiving victory over the New York Giants,

"I told y'all from the beginning he was going to be a dude,” Micah Parsons said of Overshown after the Cowboys' victory.

In that 2023 game, he watched at home as his defensive teammates overwhelmed a divisional opponent with pressure and takeaways. One year later, he helped establish momentum for good for his team with his second takeaway on a fumble recovery in the third quarter forced by fellow linebacker Eric Kendricks.
