In the weeks since the stunning deal rocked the NBA, supporters in Dallas have focused their anger on their own executives. And they aren’t ready to forgive them any time soon.

The Dallas Mavericks took the NBA by storm earlier this month with a massive trade that sent Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for Anthony Davis, Max Christie, and a 14-year-old (2029 first-round pick).

After Nick Smith Jr. hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with 48 seconds left, Rui Hachimura missed two free throws. Ball drove for a finger-roll layup with 14.2 seconds left. James hit a 3-pointer with 6.8 seconds left, but Ball hit two free throws and James missed twice to seal the Hornets' second win in 11 games.
