On Friday's WWE SmackDown, Cody Rhodes addressed his upcoming WWE Crown Jewel match against Gunther. The two champions will battle to become the first-ever WWE Crown Jewel Champion. Cody said that there will be a definitive winner in the match.

Competing for the women's Crown Jewel title are current champions Liv Morgan and Nia Jax. This is an interesting one as both women are unequivocally heels. That almost certainly means there will be shenanigans in this one as both champions look to others to help them become the first-ever Crown Jewel Champion.

WWE announced that Cody Rhodes will address his Crown Jewel Championship match against Gunther on the October 18th episode of WWE SmackDown. Rhodes and Gunther are set to clash at WWE Crown Jewel for the Crown Jewel Championship.

Roman Reigns could be among the WWE superstars who could miss Crown Jewel 2024. He made his WWE return at SummerSlam and performed in the ring at Bad Blood 2024. But Reigns isn't expected to be part of a match at Crown Jewel.
