Bengaluru: The mortal remains of former Karnataka Chief Minister SM Krishna have been taken to Maddur, his native place, for the last rites. His last rites will be conducted with full state honours in the Mandya district on Wednesday. The Karnataka government has declared three days of mourning on his demise.

Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar, BJP Leader CN Ashwath Narayan and other leaders arrived at the residence of former Karnataka CM SM Krishna, to attend the latter's last rites. His last rites will be performed with full state honour here.
