Bangladesh women's team confirmed the three-match ODI series, with a game in hand after cruising to a five-wicket win over Ireland in the second match at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Saturday.

Ireland fell to a 154-run defeat by Bangladesh in the first of three ODIs in Mirpur. Having been set a target of 253, the tourists were bowled out for 98, losing their final five wickets for 14 runs. Sarah Forbes scored 25 for Ireland, with Laura Delany and Orla Prendergast the only others to reach double figures.

Bangladesh women clinched the first game of the series at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka by 154 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the series.
