India’s aviation safety regulator has said it has found no “major safety concerns” during inspections of Air India’s Boeing 787 aircraft following Thursday’s fatal crash of a flight from Ahmedabad to London.

With the Boeing 787 checks flagging no concerns, all eyes are now on the recovered black box to ascertain what caused the crash.

In response to heightened safety concerns, DGCA confirmed that comprehensive surveillance of Air India’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet revealed no significant safety deviations.
